| The Renaissance Charitable Foundation (RCF) promotes education, well being, and fitness through charitable means, | ||||||||||||||||||||
| via an all volunteer program, ensuring that that 100% of all donations go to the recipient of each donor's choice. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| A major source of funding for the RCF is the Charity 5K race, which has been held annually since 1985. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Money raised at this event, and donations from the RASAC membership, provide funds for the RASAC scholarship | ||||||||||||||||||||
| and other charities. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| The RCF maintains separate funds for the RASAC Scholarship, Youth Athletics, and other programs. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| The RCF also supports other charitable organizations through contributions made by entrants to the Charity 5K. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Accordingly, the Charity 5K has raised funds for health, conservation, and animal welfare organizations. | ||||||||||||||||||||
